Mark, January 11th, 2023"Me and my misses had a 4 night stay here. It was my first trip abroad. Great hotel in a great location. Restaraunts coffe shops and bars all literally seconds walk away from the entrance. The ice bar is a 5 minute walk up the street. Canal view was amazing to wake up to and romantic once the sun had gone down. Working in hotels I was very impressed with the staff, cleanliness and decor. The hotel must of had some renovation work as it was pristine and fresh. Had to use the keycard to access the main entrance at all times meaning the hotel is secure and safe. It’s a very old building with plenty of original features on show giving the hotel a bit more character. I will be back to this hotel as I loved my stay here and the staff are a credit. The young man on reception was happy to spend time marking off everything we wanted on a map he provided us with and gave us plenty of tips on things to do. The night porter was very friendly too and happy to help with anything, nothing seemed too much for the friendly and professional staff. 5* review"

The hotel was very clean with the luxury of a lift. The staff were excellent- very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at The Bird when next in Amsterdam."
